Pitcher Babe Adams

Charles Benjamin “Babe” Adams was the oldest player to appear in a game for the Pirates. He was 44 years of age when he made his last appearance in 1926. Adams spent nearly his entire career with Pittsburgh. After his baseball career, he managed in the minors, farmed in Missouri, and worked as a reporter/foreign correspondent during World War II and the Korean War.

Congratulations to tonight’s winners: @dabish61 and @Tim_Faulkner67.
