The Pirates have various moves to make in the aftermath of yesterday’s 19 inning marathon game… Justin Wilson and Kyle McPherson may be on their way to San Diego to pitch in Monday’s game… Jordy Mercer is going on paternity leave… A few injuries: Neil Walker is still day to day with his dislocated finger; Travis Snider appeared to further hurt his hamstring/groin; Starling Marte was placed on the DL yesterday with an oblique strain… Michael McKenry caught all 19 innings on Sunday so it’s unlikely he’ll play on Monday night… Edinson Volquez was roughed up by the Pirates last Friday but the Padres pulled off a comeback win… Jason Marquis nearly no-hit the Bucs last Saturday… A.J. Burnett and James McDonald both struggled against San Diego last weekend… We’ll have more info on the roster moves as they become available.
